Learn the Hebrew alphabet with Sarah Israeli Sarah's insightful approach to teaching makes learning the Hebrew letters easy and fun. Pay attention and you may learn a few words as well! Choose one of the three options to start your session.
Alphabet
Click on "Alphabet" if this is your first look at the Hebrew letters. To advance to the next letter, select and click on a letter below the video screen or simply click on "Previous" or "Next."
Once in this section you will notice two Hebrew letters in the left and column. Both represent the same letter. The one on the left is how the letter appears in print and the one on the right is in cursive or hand-written form. Directly beneath the letters you will see the English transliteration of that letter.
Review
Click on "Review" for a review session on the Hebrew letters. Once in this section click Next orPrevious to randomly access the letters. Practice writing the letter and then click to reveal the letter to confirm the letter you've written down.
Vocabulary
Now that you know the letters practice putting them together to make words. Click "Vocabulary" to get startred. We at Bat Kol hope you will find these pages a meaningful and helpful way of learning the letters of the biblical language, Hebrew.
Click on "Vowels" to watch and learn the Hebrew vowels, the page includes all vowels. We hope the vowels will help you make your Hebrew better.
